Elly Walters (b. 1983) is a first generation Filipina German American born and raised in New York. During her childhood she grew up with furniture from the Philippines, made of natural materials like rattan and seashell. This influenced her visual approach during her artistic practices. Elly Walters' career in interior design plays an additional role in shaping her artistic identity, due to her time spent with various artisans, materials, forms, and environments. Originally exploring ceramics as her primary medium, she currently is working with plaster and various fiber and liquid materials to produce artwork with minimal chemical output.  

Elly Walters' goal is to provide art in a pure and natural form from concept to its final home. All packaging is 100% paper based and plastic free, making it 100% recyclable. All leather is vegan, cruelty free.
